The Zhu Zhu Toys
As the new “it” toy this holiday season, Zhu Zhu Toys have absolutely dominated the toy market.
Many children have been incredibly eager to own their own zhu zhu pet, and stores have been struggling to keep up with demand. Many toy stores have reported sell-outs, leaving parents and children incredibly disappointed.
There’s good reason why these pets, designed for children ages 3-8, are so popular.
For parents, these incredibly cute hamster lookalikes are an excellent alternative to having to buy a real pet.
They’re also a great way to train children on how to prepare for the responsibility of getting a live pet without having to take any huge risks.
Unlike with real animals, you don’t have to worry about these toys getting sick or transmitting diseases.
You certainly don’t have to bring them to the vet, or worry about buying them food. You don’t have to worry about barking or being woken up in the middle of the night, either.
In fact, one of the greatest things about the zhu zhu is that it requires very little care or attention.
That being said, when a child is ready to give it attention, it will respond very well. There are different ‘modes’ you can choose for a zhu zhu, including ‘love’ (where it showers the child with love) or ‘explore’ where the zhu zhu will go around and explore your home (via bumping, crawling, and running), making cute little noises all the way.
Some pets chirp, others laugh, and some do both. Each pet has its own distinct personality, and you can choose from many different pets that have different names, characters, and sizes.
Another obvious perk of the zhu zhu hamster is that it never dies (as long as you keep its batteries charged, obviously).
They are also incredible inexpensive compared to other toys, at a price of only $15 (and good research will sometimes find you even cheaper deals).
